Merry Christmas Everyone and A Happy New Year !
Our Christmas tree is not the most shapely but hei...it didn't cost us anything and we do love the smell of pine in the living room. The tree is much much bigger than the one last year.
Orange And Blue
>> Thursday, December 14, 2006
Orange is our resident dove who flew in and accepted us about 2 years ago. Blue is her latest 'boyfriend', if I am not mistaken her 4th since we met her. Why are they called by colours ? So as to be able to differentiate who is coming for food I dabbed them with paint from a brush I had handy.

A new look

Decided to play around with the new beta blogger and change the colours in my blog.
After all these months, I have finally managed to change the header picture into one of my own sunrise photos.
All I need to do now is try to find out how to change the green background colour.
Am quite happy with the more personalised version of my blog.
Plums galore
>> Friday, December 08, 2006
The plum tree in my new orchard have a fair bit of fruits this year. I have tried to cover up some of the fruits with plastic bags to prevent the birds from eating it. For the uncovered fruits, I will just have to try and beat the birds to it.
I did not think this tree will fruit this year as the wind blew it over in winter and half its branches are dangling on the ground. The fruits are quite small. Managed to pick about 3kg worth of plums this morning.
