Orange And Blue

Orange is our resident dove who flew in and accepted us about 2 years ago. Blue is her latest 'boyfriend', if I am not mistaken her 4th since we met her. Why are they called by colours ? So as to be able to differentiate who is coming for food I dabbed them with paint from a brush I had handy.

PassionFruit Vine...from flower to fruit

I bought a small passion fruit plant and planted it last year. The neighbour who bought it at the same time had their plant growing profusely while mine struggled.

However with some tender loving care, I can see some fruits on it now. It wintered well

A new look

Decided to play around with the new beta blogger and change the colours in my blog.

After all these months, I have finally managed to change the header picture into one of my own sunrise photos.

All I need to do now is try to find out how to change the green background colour.

Plums galore

The plum tree in my new orchard have a fair bit of fruits this year. I have tried to cover up some of the fruits with plastic bags to prevent the birds from eating it. For the uncovered fruits, I will just have to try and beat the birds to it.

I did not think this tree will fruit this year as the wind blew it over in winter and half its branches are dangling on the ground. The fruits are quite small. Managed to pick about 3kg worth of plums this morning.
