A good morning's pick. Some of the plums are not fully ripe yet but I have to pick them to beat the birds.
The peas are doing very well this year. Nothing beats freshly picked peas. They are so very sweet eaten just as they are.

Hi Sinner,
What do you these plums for? I have 5 giant plum trees in my yard and in the Summer I had to pick 3 giant bag full of plums off the ground everyday and toss them into the garbage...kept wondering what I can use them for...thanks!
Andrea
Hi Andrea,
Oh...how I wish I have more plums but between the strong wind and the birds, picking are quite slim.
I usually make plum vodka jam and any extra I skin and remove the seed then freeze them. The rest of the year I combine the frozen plums with strawberries and make a yoghurt ice cream. The bird pecked ones goes to the cows.
