My poor zucchini

This season I am not having much luck with my courgettes. Out of 5 plants, 2 died and 1 is in limbo. Of the 2 remaining plants, I have been carefully nurturing and fertilising it hoping it would give me a bountiful harvest.
Yesterday we had the most awful of wind. I came out and saw one of the zucchini plant had its head blown off. Dearie me !!! I won't write off the plant yet. Am hoping that it will be strong enough to send up some side shoots.

Nice picks. Courgettes grow best on a pile of pure compost. Good luck!
