The Golden Fruit

My persimmon tree must be 11 years old if not more. So far it has only produced 3 fruits. Hence the reason why I was ecstatic when I saw ONE fruit on it this year. I protected it with a garlic net and hung some of my bird scaring tapes on it.

When picked, it weighed in at 350gm. A very good size indeed. And the sweetest. Hopefully I will have many more next year. Here's hoping....
